Walk to Halda Ema

Come and join a small hiking trip to a very special hill in Ostrava. ?

Halda Ema is a human-made heap behind the river in the city centre. It offers a good view to the city. The heap is still burning inside, the temperature below ground level is around 1000°C. Because of that, there is no snow in winter on the hill, and there is a green grass on the top of the hill all year long. ?
