ESN Pardubice and ESN VŠB-TUO are proud to invite you to another ESN hiking trip. This time it’s gonna be “real” hiking, we will conquer the mountain of Smrk (The Spruce; 1,276 m AMSL), it’s the second highest mountain of Beskydy mountains and definitely the most demanding track of that mountains ;)

At 10:56 a.m. we will come to Ostravice in the hearth of Beskydy mountains. Our hike will lead us uphill to reach the summit of the Smrk mountain (1,276 m AMSL). The whole journey is to be followed in the map here: It’s 22.2 km and the elevation to cover is more than 1 km, all of that in less than 8 hours.
For the lazy group it is possible to end up the trip in a restaurant after taking 17.1 km (only 0.9 km of climb), there is a bus leaving that place at 6:39 p.m. After the hike if we’re fast enough we can eat in a restaurant and then take the return train back to Pardubice with the arrival at 10:42 p.m.

3. If someone will be to slow to not make it, wou will just go up to the summit and back taking the same track, that would be only 14.5 km, see

ESSENTIALS: You know what to take for a real hike, just consider the weather. It’s mountains and half of November, some snow wouldn’t be so surprising…

FOOD: Take your snack to survive a day.
